Assembly Public Safety Committee holds Informational Hearing on Human Trafficking

TODAY, the California State Assembly Public Safety Committee, chaired by Assemblymember Bill Quirk (D – Hayward), will hold an informational hearing to discuss Human Trafficking: Identifying the Scope of the Problem and Potential Solutions.

The hearing, which will take place in the State Capitol Building this morning, will include a discussion on the scope of laws related to human trafficking, prostitution, and pimping. California Attorney’s for Criminal Justice’s (CACJ) Steve Munkelt will participate in this discussion along with other experts and advocates.
